The High Point Quilt Guild is proud to partner with the Hayworth Cancer Center/High Point Regional Hospital in providing comfort quilts for adult patients undergoing treatment. Working individually, or coming together at monthly sewing days, guild members produce beautiful quilts that are then donated to the cancer center. From its inception in 2012, the program has accounted for over 1,100 quilts being gifted to patients.
Charity Quilt Sewing Days – 2018 – meet at Westchester Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall - 10 am to 5 pm - on guild meeting days (normally the 2nd Thursday of the month). Come any time between those hours and sew with your guild buddies. Pre-made kits will continue to be available at the workshops, including instructions, pre-cut pieces, backing, binding and labels.
