Make a stocking to donate to a child.

Details: Make a Christmas stocking to donate, using the material/fiber of your choice for the November 12, 2026 meeting. You can sew, quilt, knit, crochet, embroider...just use something in the fiber arts. Choose the gender and age of the child to receive your stocking; record your choice at the membership table so we can track what we have and be sure we have a variety of genders/ages. After you make the stocking, stuff it with items for a child of the gender and age you chose.

Due to allergies and storage conditions, please do not stuff with liquids, perishables, candy, food, nuts, or dated items.

Attach the small tag with the gender and age written on it. Attach with a string or ribbon, no pins. Tags can be picked up at the Membership table. Stockings will be displayed at our November meeting.

Categories for awards will be:

Most Likely to be an Heirloom (Classic)

Most Colorful

Most Intricate Design

Most Awesome Embellishments

Most Original

Most Likely to Be Fought Over

Stockings will be donated to Northwood Community Center Clothing Closet to distribute.
